Why We Started
Our founder saw firsthand how isolating and overwhelming caregiving can be—for both seniors and their families. Good Company Care was born from a desire to bring heart back into home care—to create a service that treats every client like a neighbor, not a number.

A couple of years ago, I went through surgery to remove cancer in my neck. The recovery was tough—physically, emotionally, and in ways I didn’t expect. What got me through it wasn’t just the doctors or the medicine—it was my children. Their presence, their patience, and their simple acts of care made all the difference. That experience stayed with me. It made me realize how powerful it is to have someone by your side—not just to help, but to truly care. That’s what inspired me to start Good Company Care. I wanted to create a service that feels personal, not clinical. A service where people feel seen, heard, and supported—just like I did when I needed it most. Whether it’s companionship, help around the house, or just someone to talk to, we’re here to offer care that feels like family.
